The Weeping Wall

This is a pretty neat waterfall coming over a cliff that you can see directly from the Icefields Parkway. There is a little pullout you can park in as a rest, but there’s also a trail you can take that goes right up to the cliff base!

Head across the road towards a little sign post, and continue into the bushes to find the trail. You’ll walk along a little stream before a short, but fairly steep climb to the falls. This climb can get slippery with loose rocks, so be careful on the ascent/descent.

Springtime is the best time for this one, as the waterfall will be rushing a bit harder with the melt. Later in the Fall, it’ll be more of a small trickle. It’s a great place to stretch your legs for a cool view, and the trail only takes about 5 minutes to get to the falls.
